Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Human Patterns is a public space for thoughtful conversations about recurring situations, relationships, reactions, emotions, stressful life events, body awareness and personal experiences.

These guidelines are intended to help keep the community useful, respectful and safe for everyone.

1. Respect Other People

Different people may understand the same situation in very different ways. Disagreement is welcome; personal attacks are not.

Please:

  • respond to ideas and experiences rather than attacking the person;
  • avoid insults, humiliation, harassment and intimidation;
  • allow others to describe their own experiences in their own words;
  • avoid pressuring someone to accept your interpretation.

2. Share Experience, Not Certainty

Human Patterns is built around experiences, questions and perspectives.

When discussing personal situations, it is helpful to use language such as:

  • “In my experience…”
  • “What helped me understand this was…”
  • “One possibility I considered was…”
  • “I see this differently because…”

Please do not present personal interpretations as unquestionable facts about another person.

3. Health and Medical Discussions

Some discussions may involve body awareness, health experiences, stressful events or concepts related to German New Medicine (GNM) and other biological interpretations.

Human Patterns is not a medical service and community discussions are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Do not:

  • promise that a method, interpretation or product will cure or treat a disease;
  • guarantee a medical outcome;
  • tell another member to stop prescribed medication or professional treatment;
  • present personal experience as proof that a medical treatment is unnecessary;
  • pressure another person to reject qualified medical care.

Members may discuss their own experiences and viewpoints, provided they clearly remain personal experiences or opinions.

4. Protect Your Privacy

Human Patterns is publicly readable. Information included in a public post or reply may be seen by people who are not registered members.

Think carefully before sharing:

  • full names;
  • addresses or exact locations;
  • telephone numbers;
  • private email addresses;
  • medical documents;
  • financial information;
  • information that could identify another person.

Do not publish another person's private information without appropriate permission.

5. Anonymous Posting

Registered members may have the option to publish as Anonymous.

Anonymous means hidden from other visitors and members. It does not mean hidden from authorized administrators.

Administrators may identify the account behind an Anonymous publication when necessary for moderation, security, abuse prevention or legal compliance.

Anonymous posting must not be used to:

  • harass another person;
  • impersonate someone;
  • evade moderation;
  • publish unlawful material;
  • create artificial support for your own posts;
  • mislead people about how many independent participants are involved in a discussion.

6. Do Not Impersonate Others

Do not create accounts or content intended to make other members believe you are another real person, professional, organization or independent participant when you are not.

Official Human Patterns or EUWC Solutions accounts should be clearly identifiable as such.

7. No Spam or Manipulative Promotion

Human Patterns is a discussion community, not an advertising board.

Please do not publish:

  • repetitive promotional messages;
  • automated or mass-posted content;
  • irrelevant commercial links;
  • affiliate spam;
  • misleading offers;
  • content whose primary purpose is to manipulate engagement.

Relevant links may be shared when they genuinely contribute to the discussion.

8. Keep Discussions Relevant

Choose the topic that best matches your question or experience and try to keep replies connected to the original discussion.

Moderators may move, retag, edit titles or reorganize discussions when this makes the community easier to use.

9. No Illegal or Harmful Content

Do not publish content that:

  • is unlawful;
  • contains credible threats of violence;
  • encourages abuse or exploitation;
  • contains malicious software or fraudulent links;
  • violates another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • is intended to facilitate fraud, unauthorized access or other unlawful activity.

10. Personal Crisis and Emergencies

Human Patterns is not an emergency, crisis or professional healthcare service.

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service or a qualified professional in your country.

11. Moderation

Human Patterns may moderate public content in order to protect the usefulness and integrity of the community.

Depending on the circumstances, moderators may:

  • ask a member to clarify or change a publication;
  • edit a title or category;
  • hide or remove content;
  • restrict an account;
  • suspend or terminate an account;
  • take action against spam, abuse or repeated violations.

Not every disagreement is a rules violation. Moderation decisions may take context, repetition, severity and the effect on other members into account.

12. Help Build Useful Conversations

The most useful contributions often do one of three things:

  • describe a real experience;
  • ask a thoughtful question;
  • offer a different perspective without insisting that it is the only correct one.

You do not need to have an answer in order to participate. A clear and honest question can be the beginning of a valuable discussion.

13. Reporting a Problem

If you believe content violates these guidelines, contains private information or requires administrator attention, contact:
